"Bergamot is a unique Italian (Calabrian) citrus fruit known for decades in the region for having beneficial health effects. It differs from other citrus fruits because of the high content and composition of its antioxidant flavonoids. Each BergaMet Mega +O bottle contains 60 tablets which each contain: - 600mg of dehydrated pure bergamot juice (38% composition of polyphenols) - 50mg of ascorbic acid - 100mg of Olea Europaea leaf extract (olive leaf) - 50mg of magnesium (as amino acid chelate). The new formulation which includes olive leaf extract and magnesium results in a more portent product than the BergaMet Mega it replaces. A double blind placebo clinical trial conducted at the Dept of Cardiology of the University of Rome ""Tor Vergata"" and at the Vascular Medicine and Artherosclerosis Unit Cardiology, Villa Salus Medical Center, Marinella on 238 patients produced the following data: - Bergamot could be an effective nutriceutical approach to prevent artherosclerosos in patients
